Sophia Durham, CEO

Sophia is a leader in the cybersecurity sector, with over a decade of experience building and scaling security capabilities across complex, regulated and commercial environments.

Before co-founding Sophism, she played a key role in growing a UK-based cybersecurity consultancy, leading the business' sales and commercial strategy while working closely with technical teams across CREST-accredited testing, red teaming, and advisory services.

Sophia's work has supported organisations across a range of industries, including financial services, automotive, rail, technology, and other high-impact fields, helping them move beyond compliance-driven security and toward decisions grounded in real-world risk.

David Collins, CTO

David has two decades of experience in both conducting and managing security testing. He most recently worked for a global bank operating in 60+ countries, managing the internal red team for nearly eight years. David previously ran the global e-banking and mobile banking security testing programmes for a further five years.

Most of the rest of his career has been spent working for several CREST-accredited consultancies, having also worked with Sophia for over ten years in her previous role.

David is a highly experienced security testing professional, having delivered and led complex security testing programmes across global financial institutions.
